-one electric blanket -two knockoff lets-not-break-anyone's-fourth-walls dvds for a movie night (unless there are other preferences, Technically Not "Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" -- Imoen thought they'd be cute and romantic but is clearly disappointed in all this have to turn human business where 👏 Is 👏 Her 👏 Romancing 👏 Nonhuman 👏 Movies!) -three flower-themed decorative hairpins -four bulk packages of pudding cups -FIVE FAUX-GOLD HORN RINGS (this one legitimately purchased just don't ask where she got the money) -six sets of nail polish -seven shades of eye shadow -eight shades of lipstick -nine boxes of incense -ten floral arrangements that she forgot to take the name tags of the person who ordered them off of -eleven ridiculously extravagant and difficult to clean up bath bombs and a promise she'll clean them up for her (she will conveniently forget) -twelve shiny bird toys to watch Poppy play with
Within a ring of floral arrangements, incense, and make up, with pudding cups in her lap and Poppy playing with her new toys, Juniper sits on the living room floor and cries a little. It's not sobbing, mind you, and maybe not so much crying as just silently leaking tears, but she is definitely emotional.
For Imoen, Juniper has prepared a gift as well. It is packaged nicely and neatly, with a big, beautiful red bow tied to it, and, in lieu of a traditional gift tag, Imoen's name written in an artful version of Juniper's already rounded, neat handwriting across the entirety of the brown paper it's wrapped in, with a single sprig of actual juniper tied to the bow. In it is the following:
- a (secretly knit) wool scarf, big and soft and rainbow in colour, and seemingly made with both love and practiced hands. - about a dozen tubes of various coloured hair dye, meant for mixing together to create whatever colours one desires - a nice, leather bound notebook with a pen handcrafted from antler - and a large variety pack of several different flavours of hot cocoa
